Refund Policy
At Hotfy Technologies Limited, customer satisfaction is important to us. However, due to the nature of our services—digital, instant, and mostly irreversible—refunds are only issued under specific conditions outlined below.
By using our platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Non-Refundable Services
Please note that all successfully delivered services are final and non-refundable , including but not limited to:
- Airtime top-ups
- Data bundle purchases
- Electricity token generation
- TV/cable subscription renewals
- Other utility or bill payments
Once a transaction is successfully processed and confirmed by the service provider, we cannot reverse or refund it.
2. Eligible Refund Cases
Refunds or service reprocessing may be considered only in the following situations:
- You were charged but the service was not delivered
- The service was delivered to the wrong number/account due to a system error (not user error)
- There was a duplicate charge for the same service
- Payment was made, but service failed due to platform or network issues
In such cases, refunds will be processed only after verifying the failure through our transaction logs and service provider records.
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, you must:
- Send an email to hotfytechnologies@gmail.com
- Include the following:

- Registered Phone Number or Email
- Transaction ID or Reference Code
- Date and Time of Transaction
- Description of the issue
- Submit the request within 48 hours of the transaction.
Requests submitted after 48 hours may not be honored.
4. Refund Timeline
If your request is approved:
- Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method (e.g., card or wallet)
- You will receive a confirmation once your refund has been initiated
5. When Refunds Are Not Possible
We will not process refunds in the following cases:
- User error (e.g., wrong phone number, meter number, smartcard number)
- Change of mind after successful payment
- Service already confirmed as delivered
- Failure to follow instructions properly on the platform
6. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving all refund issues quickly and fairly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the appropriate consumer protection body or Flutterwave’s dispute resolution process.
